Do you ever slow down your reading? Have trouble finding something to read or nothing is catching your eye? What do you do to get back into it?
Also - when posting my signature has been funky, there is a lot of blank space after it. Any idea how to fix that?

Yes! I've slowed down my reading recently. Not on purpose but just because I lack interest in anything currently in my TBR pile and I've been learning to crochet. It's funny how sometimes I can't wait to get to the books in my TBR pile and other times I'm like "eh, not really interested right now."
I usually get out of it by first looking through my TBR pile and if nothing catches my eye then I end up going and buying a new book that I can't resist.
It happens to me, too. Actually September was a really bad reading month, i just got back into my usual rhythm. It usually happens because of too much choice and i can't decide what to read or just nothing really appeals to me. Trying either something completely out of my usual genres or something I've been really wanting to read for a long time sometimes works for me. or you can just take a little break from reading altogether, this works too.
I had to slow down as well, because I am taking graduate classes. When I find that I have trouble finding something to read, I re-read a book I loved :)
I have a hard time reading if I'm super busy or distracted with a bunch of other stuff. Hang in there.
I have a growing TBR pile. I think I just had to pull away a little so that I wouldn't get burned out or something. :) I have started a new book though. I'm a little over half way through. It is exciting to pick it up again!
September's always crazy. So's June (for me) and December. Sometimes I react oppositely to it and over-read... ahem. Which means, the house is a MESS. I found your site Friday Fun hopping, oddly enough. And I hope you do get into the swing of things again. :-) New follower... just in case! Have a great weekend!
