Q: Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?I usually avoid religious novels and nonfiction, unless it is a topic that really interests me.

I've enjoyed non-fiction a time or too but generally prefer fiction as well.
Have a good weekend.

Non-fiction really makes me shudder. :)

My FF: Book Nerds are Pretty Too
I tend to stay away from nonfiction as well. I have this horrible connotation in my head that they're just too boring. However, I try and keep my mind open and maybe someday I'll pick one up that'll get me interested.

Nonfiction is mine too, although there are exceptions to every rule! I try not to avoid any genre entirely.

new rss follower .. it's a hit or miss for non fiction for me http://totallybookedsolid.blogspot.com/2012/01/follow-friday_27.html
Nonfiction...it depends what it is. Generally I avoid it, but I HAVE read a few good essay compilations, and I guess they would technically be classified in that genre.
Not a fan of religious fiction either. It just doesn't cut it for me, though I have a few friends who really enjoy it.
Hopping through. I avoid religious books unless they're not preachy.
