Passion
Lauren Kate
420 p.

"Every single lifetime, I'll choose you. Just as you have chosen me. Forever."

Luce would die for Daniel. And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.

Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.

Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.
(Goodreads)

This one was a bit of a whirlwind. You go through so many places, times and emotions. I definitely enjoyed this one better than Fallen and Torment.

Passion picks up where Torment left off, with Luce traveling through the Announcer into hers and Daniel's past. She is seeking answers as to why their love is cursed and what she can do to change it. Each trip back through seems to get us closer to an answer without it being completely unraveled.

There were bits that were funny, love that moved you and moments that made you feel hopeless for them, but all in all it was a good read. I think others may enjoy this third installment better than the first two if you can keep patient through all the whos, whats, whens, wheres and whys.

I feel as though I am closer to learning the truth except I still don't quite understand everything. I still finished this one feeling more satisfied than I did with Fallen and Torment. I am disappointed though that I will have to wait almost a year before reading Rapture, which is scheduled for Spring 2012.

I completely agree with you that this latest book was so much better than the first two...

That being said, I am getting super-frustrated with not having any answers to what is going on and instead getting really confusing add-ons to the already confusing plot lol... you were MUCH nicer in your review than I was in mine ;)
