Sunday Recap - 2/12

Sunday, February 12, 2012

So I'm SUPER excited that The Walking Dead is coming back on tonight! I can't wait to see what is going to happen now. As you know, this show is just full of surprises. I was disappointed when they said they were splitting up the season, but now I am kind of glad they did. After this, I will have A Game of Thrones coming back (April 1), then True Blood (this summer).

Anyway... yay for zombies!!! This show definitely has me hooked and I can't wait for it.

Sunday Recap - 1/22

Sunday, January 22, 2012

I hope everyone has had a great week! You know, I'm beginning to think that perhaps where I am (not sure about the rest of the world in weather terms), the seasons are quite confused! Normally January is our coldest month and when we would usually get wintry weather, but that doesn't seem to be the case this winter. I am actually a little disappointed. So, I have added my own little bit of winter, since Mother Nature has decided its not exactly winter, but more of some weird fall/spring/sprinkle in a few cold days AND a couple of thunderstorms season. I can only hope that when spring and summer roll around it's not dreadfully hot -- this girl is not a hot weather person in the least!

Here is what I have read this week:

Crossed
Anna and the French Kiss

{Sunday} Recap - 9/13

Tuesday, September 13, 2011

Sorry this is late! Had a busy weekend and I was totally pooped out, so I am doing a belated version of my Sunday Recap. I have just been busy in general (bad for squeezing in reading time) and didn't get in as many books as I would've liked to. I am still hoping to reach my 20 books some how by the end of this month.

What I'm Reading: I don't know, just finished The Iron Thorn last night.

What I read this [ummm last] week:

Bad Taste in Boys - Carrie Harris
Unearthly - Cynthia Hand

I am not sure what I'm going to read this week or what I'm going to read next. Decisions, decisons. :)

I hope everyone has had a great week and has a good week going into September! Woohoo, bring on fall! Thanks again to all my new followers, and to Parajunkee's View for featuring me this past Friday. If you see that I didn't follow you back, leave your link in the comments and I will happily stop by and follow you back. :)

What I'm currently reading: Ashfall by Mike Mullin

What I read this past week:

As you can see, lately I have been drowning in dystopian/post-apocalyptic novels.
Mockingjay - Suzanne Collins
Delirium - Lauren Oliver
Matched - Ally Condie

This is what I am hoping to read this coming week (and finish reading):
I am going to try to fit more in there as well, but it's a busy work week for me!

Sunday Recap - 8/21

Sunday, August 21, 2011
I know I have been bad (shame) about not keeping up with my features lately -- but I am intending to fix that! I want to do one big post with the past week's features, so we'll see if I can get that done.

(note to self:) This week I will get my features done!

I need to update my 2011 reads list too. I also need to get myself in gear and start super-reading so I can get my 2011 challenge done. I am 35 books in out of 100. I need to get in 3-4 books a week to meet the goal. Whoa at the pressure!

I have been putting off reading Mockingjay because it is the last one, but I started it last night because I can't hold out any more. It makes me nervous though. I have no idea what is going to happen now!! Will the ending be good? Will it be bad? Something in between? AHHH!

On another note...

I can't believe my little boy is going to be FOUR next month! He will be grown before I know it. Why do they have to grow so fast?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, now that my self-rant is over, getting to some good stuff! I wanted to do my own little weekly recap type thing, so let's see how it goes!

Last week, this is what I read:

Life As We Knew It - Susan Beth Pfeffer

The Dead and the Gone - Susan Beth Pfeffer
This World We Live In - Susuan Beth Pfeffer
Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side - Beth Fantaskey

Last week I managed to read some super awesome books! The Last Survivors series was amazing! Life As We Knew It was my favorite of the three. Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side was great too. I think you should definitely check these out the next time you have a chance!
